What age in Queensland Australia can I get a job?

    Generally it is 14 ½ to work, but you can work earlier as long as your have your parent’s permission. I love your reason for wanting a job! That made me laugh! The official age is 14 years and 9 months without a parent/guardian's discretion, however you can be as young as 13 with a parent/guardians permission to do so.... A lot of big chain dept. stores probably wouldn't hire you until the official age, but smaller stores like local take-away places may tend to do so. Good luck!

Generally the age that you can start working is 15. But some places may say 14 years and 6 months. Depends on the company
