How much does a Working Holiday Visa cost ?

• Me and my partner are looking at moving away from the UK and ideally would love to move to Australia, and after researching, enquiring and asking on forums our best bet would be to apply for a Working Holiday Visa for 12 months, however the only place I have found a cost is through a Migration Agent, but obviously their are costs in their services as well as the visa itself. On one forum I was told I do not need to use an Agent for applying/gaining a visa of this type and can do it individually.... where is the best place to go and also, how much does this type of Visa cost??   The ONLY sensible place to get your Working Holiday visa is direct from the Australian immigration website. It will cost you £150 (AUD$235) and you'll have it within a few hours (absolute maximum a couple of days if they're very busy). EVERY agent will charge more than that because they must pay exactly the same visa charge as you and then they add their completely unearned profit on top of that - they'll take longer too. http://www.immi.gov.au/visitors/working-holiday/417/ That VisaFirst mob another mentioned in another answer will charge you £180 for a visa within 48 hours (which they can only guarantee because WHVs always take less than that) or £175 for 2 week processing (they wouldn't even lodge the application until just before the 2 weeks was up). What a ripoff!
