How do I apply for a Australia holiday visa?

My partner and I want to visit Australia for 3 weeks to see if we could settle over there. How do we apply for the visa, what type of visa do we apply for and does that get in the way of starting a Migration Visa application?

You can get a holiday Australian visa from any travel shop or the Embassy in London (australia house) As for visas ti emigrate it depends on if you have a sponsor, family out there or are you going for a skilled visa?
