What kind of food is popular in places like australia and new zealand?

We eat almost anything . Australians especially love a bar b que. If invited to a bar b que or put one on then there is normally several salad dishes along with sausages steak or seafood cooked on the bar b que. . There are thousands of different sorts of restaurants from the usual takeaway shops right through to luxury dining. with many different nationality restaurants . We love deserts especially in NZ. fruit and cheeses on the table often plus a huge variety of breads.Pumpkin soup is always a favourite with many . Pavlova as a desert always goes down well and pies are popular from meat pies chicken pies bacon and egg pies. even apple pies and cream or strawberries and cream . Mango season at the moment so plenty of them around. We have vegetarian people and I love a noodle , egg , seafood or chicken meal. Baked beans on toast is a quick and easy filler.

Pretty much all food from all around the world is accepted as YUM by New Zealanders. Asian and Indian foods are especially loved. Pizza, fast food and fizzy drinks are popular too. Not sure about Australia because I don't live there
