Yes !! The esplanade is great wheelchair access with boardwalks everywhere. Easy access also at the cairns zoo and the aboriginal culture park. Also there wouldn't be any problems getting on the boats to take you out to Green Island (great place and easy for wheelchair) or out onto the reef, Have fun in Cairns - it's great
