How much money should i take to a one month trip to Australia?

  • Hey, i'm argentinian and i'm planning a one month trip to Australia. Actually, it will only takes 22 days, but maybe i stay a little bit more. I'll be in Gold Coast, Sidney, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide.. How much money do you think i need to take in order to live comfortably. Thanks for your answers!

That is hard to answer. It depends on what accommodation you want and how much you want to spend. You will have to prove to immigration (if they stop you) that you can support yourself for your allotted time or be refused entry, so bring enough funds to cover yourself. I would say a minimum of AU$5000.00, but more would be better. Be aware if you bring in $10000.00 or more then you MUST declare that amount at customs. You will be allowed to keep it of course but if you do NOT declare that amount you risk losing it all.
