Do i need a visa to travel?

Australian citizen require a visa to enter Indonesia (and therefore visiting Bali). But don't worry, you will be getting the visa on arrival at the airport. It will cost you US$25 for a stay of up to 30 days. In order to be granted the visa your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia, and you must have proof of onward passage (either return or through tickets). If you cannot fulfill both of these requirements, you may not be allowed to enter the country. When your flight arrives before you can pass through to outside you will have to buy your visa (it's called "Visa on Arrival"). Fairly simple - follow the signs and everyone else to the counter and pay for your visa. On the way back out of Bali (to Australia I assume) you will also have to pay a departure tax - it is 150,000 IDR. About $16 AU and must be paid in Indonesian Rupiah.
