Anyone who has been on a Contiki tour?

  • Hi Guys!:) I'm a 19 yr old girl from Melbourne and am thinking bout going on a Contiki tour this year, i haven't decided 100% where i want to go yet, but im leaning towards Europe. If you've been on a Contiki tour before, please tell me anything you can about it! Did you enjoy it?? Were the tours organised well?? Do you think you got your moneys worth?? Which tour did you go on and was it good?? Tell me anything please!:)

    I haven't ever been on a Contiki tour but my uncle has. He went to the US and did an extensive tour all over. He went to New York, visited the Grand Canyon by helicopter, Graceland (home of Elvis Presley) and Las Vegas. He went to a lot of other places, sorry I can't remember all of them as it was a few years back! But he met a lot of people from all over the world and still keeps in contact. It's very vigorous, very 'on the go' you go from place to place. I think because there is so much to see it's so jam packed. He really enjoyed it and recommends it to anyone.

I went to NZ on a Contiki tour and had my 21st b/day whilst there.I made some awesome friends and had a great time. Accommodation and meals were excellent,of course there are extras to pay for like alcohol and certain activities like rafting,hiking and bungy jumping,some activities are included in price set. One of the most beautiful places i have ever been to.I was single when i went so i was only responsible for myself.
