Where to study - New Zealand or Australia?

Where is the best place to study in Australia or New Zealand?

• I am going to be a sophomore girl in college this fall of 2011 and have been starting to think about studying abroad my junior year of college (2012-2013). I am set on going to Australia or New Zealand, I just can't decide what city. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what city i'd like best :) here's some facts about me: 1) i love to be active. i play soccer, swim, wakeboard, golf, and play tennis. I am up for trying many new things 2) i love being outdoors 3) i love to go out and have a good time so i would like somewhere with a good nightlife 4) i don't like getting too lost in big cities though thanks!

  If you could explain what "sophomore" "college" and "junior year of college" are, we might be able to help you a little better. Those terms are not used in Australia. Here we have twelve years of schooling - seven primary, five secondary with university entrance exams in the final year. After school comes university and a basic full time bachelor degree in Arts or Science will take three years. Honours will take a further year. After that it is a Masters or a PhD. Is college in the USA similar to university here or is it similar to the last years of high school? You don't say what you are studying at college. If you did we might be able to point you to the best schools for your subject. The top universities in Australia include the Universities of Sydney and New South Wales, both in Sydney; the Australian National University in Canberra; and the University of Melbourne. There are very good universities in all capital cities and in many provincial cities as well
