I have a layover in the Auckland Airport in New Zealand And i want to buy some food while im in the airport during my layover i wont have a credit card does anyone know if they accept us money in the airport?

yes...they do accept US dollars at Auckland international... im thinking that ive done the same flight as you quite a few times (San Fran/Auckland/Cairns) and i have always used US dollars to purchase food/drinks/magazines etc... you might pay a little more but it saves in the long run as you dont have to go to the currency exchange and pay their fees...

they'll often accept all sorts of currency at airports ... or if not there are usually lots of places that will change it, as long as it's paper money not coins

Australia and New Zealand are not the same country!! this question should be under NZ, not under Australia.. both New Zealanders and Australians find it offensive to associate one another to each other.. anyway no they will not accept US money at the airport, unless you are paying by credit card. you will need to exchange money to NZ money as that is the only money accpeted here in New Zealand.
