Will a full motorbike license from the UK cover me in Australia?

I have a full 125cc motorbike license and want to know what or if it will cover me on in Australia

The regulations vary a little between states but basically, while you are visiting Australia on any kind of temporary visa, you can ride (or drive) the same class of bike or car as is covered by your licence as long as your overseas licence is valid. Here is the relevant section of the NSW regs: http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/visitorstonsw/overseaslicence.html If you have a permanent visa, you can only ride (or drive) on your overseas licence for up to 3 months by which time you must obtain a licence for the state in which you will be living.

Yes you can use your overseas license so long as you are on a holiday visa. If you are traveling around quite a bit you may even think about getting an international drivers license before leaving UK. We had overseas students work for us in Perth on working holiday and study visas and they were allowed to drive during their stay in Australia on their overseas drivers license.
