How can I get a part time job quickly in Canberra?

• I'm a uni student. I'm struggling financially after my dad's death. I've applied some places online but nothing came up. Please, tell me the fastest way to get a part time job like at a fast food restaurant or something. I really have to work on the weekends to pay for rent and other bills.
