-
Hi i want to buy online tshirts from american online store. Im based in australia I want someone to help me out with the sizes differences. I have 1 tshirt here sizes 14 Then i have another tshirt here sizes S The sizes 14 vs sizes S seems to be quite the same. Since i brought the tshirts here in australia What is the Sizes 14 and sizes S is like in america for the tshirts be like ? would it be the same as australia or would the Sizes S be much smaller then the Sizes S standard australia tshirt sizes ? Let me know. Because i never brought online and making sure the Sizes S and Sizes 14 are the same as to what i have here with me.. Just had the feeling that in america sizes 14 and sizes s may be differnt and also sizes S may be much smaller sizes then what you would expect differently in a australia for a tshirt sizes S from the shop in australia. Let me know the differences please I will also rate who ever gives the fullest best reply given without been too confused. (((I will block and report anyone procceding website links and or spaming on this msg thread.))) Unless sizes SX america for a tshirt is the quevelant of a sizes S in australia course it is alittle different there to over here in sizes and such. correct ?

Answer:
If you are a female, US sizes can be confusing as they have misses and womens. A womans size 14 would usually fit an Australian 12. Misses are smaller for the teenage build. American stores on-line usually have a size chart, if they have actual measurements you can order that way. Remember that they measure in feet and inches and we measure in metric, your dressmakers tape will have inches on one side and centimetres on the other. Look at the customer reviews for "fit" comments, ie runs large or small to size. S is an arbitrary sizing, an S at Autograph is going to be twice the size as an S at Supre. Good luck.

I can't answer specifically. But my husband buys American t-shirts sometimes because their sizes are similar to Australian ones - quite generous, not smallish like Asian made ones. He is a big guy and buys XXL and finds that the XXL American ones fit well.
