Is IELTS costly exam?

Can Second applicant give IELTS exam after Case officer assigned?

• Hi friends, once again I me here for a answer, for my applied visa application subclass 475, after a long wait the case officer is assigned, the CO asked me to provide my spouse's IELTS within 70 days. but my spouse didnt had IELTS exam, my questions are: (1.) in my country nearest IELTS exam dates are 2-mar, 19-mar. can we go for exam and after that exam result will come after 13 days. can we do like this. (2.) if my spouse dont go for exam how much fee i have to pay, (3.) can fee be payed by credit cards, online bank transfers etc. (4.) if we pay the fee, then is this will over by paying fee once or in future my spouse again have to sit for exam.

• Answer:

  (1) If your CO has asked you to provide your spouse's IELTS within 70 days, that's how long you have to provide it. If because of the exam dates, you need longer than the 70 days, you MUST ask your CO for an extension. (2) If your spouse doesn't sit IELTS within the designated (or extended) time, you will have to pay the second instalment fee which is $3575. S/he would be REALLY STUPID if they don't attend those lessons.
