Yes there are a couple, such as ANZAC Day, Labour Day, and Queen's Birthday. There's also a couple of state specific holidays too. But the Christian holidays such as Easter and Christmas are the same.

The other difference is that we use the term holiday in two different ways. Public holiday is the US holiday. Holiday is the US vacation. so we have generally 4 weeks holiday a year.
