How much would it cost to drive from canada to australia?

  • How much would it cost to drive from canada through the u.s and mexico and guatemala and el salvador and nicaragua and costa rica and panama and colombia and brazil and stay a few nights in the u.s,mexico and brazil. Then take a boat to cote d'ivoire and drive through mali,Algeria and Libya and stay a few nights in egypt. Then drive to Israel and stay a night there and drive through syria to turkey and stay a night there then drive through Bulgaria,vugo and slovakia and stay a night in switzerland then 2 nights in italy then go to france and stay 2 nights there then drive to spain and stay 2 nights there then drive up to the u.k and stay 3 nights there then drive to germany and stay 3 nights there then go to poland and take a boat to sweden and stay there for a night and norway for a night and finland for a night. Then drive through russia and stay there for about 2 weeks then go to japan then to korea then to china and stay in china for a week while I'm driving to India then stay in India for 2 nights. Then take a boat to indonesia and stay there for 4 nights then take another boat to australia and stay there for a week. And how would I get back to canada? Because I wouldn't want to drive all the way back. Is there a boat I can take that goes from australia to canada? or a plane or something.

I guess for a good overview of your travel plans, see other airlines for current fares of flights to Australia. It should give some idea of the cost for booking a trip from various different destinations around the world.

I'm just amazed at the huge distances you think you can drive in one day eg drive through Syria to Turkey and stay a night there, then drive through bulgaria, Yugo (doesn't exist by the way) and slovakia and stay a night in Switzerland - just can't be done!! Anyway, before you even consider how much time this will take, you should look at how to get visas for all the countries you expect to pass through and find alternatives to shipping your car. I very much doubt if there are ships from Brazil to Cote d'Ivoire that will take your car on board, there certainly aren't any from Indonesia to Australia. BTW how are you travelling through Indonesia, it's a series of islands?! The cost of flying your car from one place to another will be extremely expensive, but ring airlines to find out. Why don't you do the trip by motorcycle, just like Ewan MacGregor and Charlie Boorman, motorcycles are much easier to transport than cars.
