How to migrate from Australia to France?

How can I migrate to Australia if..?

  • So I know that you can only apply for migration when you're 18, and I'm turning 18 next year. I'm from the Philippines and I want to migrate to Australia. I'm not going to have my parents or any family member with me so I know this is a big thing, but I'm willing to be independent. I don't want to migrate to Aus thru student visa because that would limit the number of working hours (which would mean that I would still have to depend on my parents so much) and also, I don't want to depend my stay on my studies as I know I have to go back to the Phils after I finish my studies. I would like to study in Australia and finish my studies there, but I don't want my whole dreams to be dependent on my student visa.. you know what I mean?? So my question is.. how can I migrate to Australia if student visa isn't a choice, and I'm only 18 and a high school graduate only? Is there any job I can take or anything if I'm still not done with my college? what are the requirements? thanks for those who are gon help!

Sorry but without a recognised skill that is on our skills shortage list there is no way you'll be able to migrate here ...

Lucy, you wouldn't have a hope. You have to meet the Australian Immigration Criteria, and meet the profession on the list, with a degree and experience. Like Nursing, or a doctor, maybe in the engineering field.

Wishful thing. To have any hope you need skills and experience that Australia requires. There is an on-line at http://www.workpermit.com where you can assess you're change of admission. You can even input dummy data to see what you need in order to qualify. it's a commercial site and I do not recommend their services, but the test is free and useful.

Well Lucy, for a Pinay you have about the best written English skills I have seen in these pages. Most could not compose a question that length as well as you have done -intelligently. But be that as it may the bottom line is you do not have a chance . How do I know this ? My wife is Pinay. She has many relatives, older than you, qualified in a number of areas and we have not been able to get them here. The entry regs are very strict. I cannot say I have ever heard of a single 18 year old Pinay getting any type of work visa--ever. Even a tourist visa would be a problema as Aussie Immigration know Pinays go TNT. Many have. So it is hard for the rest.I am not trying to put you off but the way I see it and from experience it looks like this, Single Pinay 18 no ties to Australia no qualifications or experience All ads up to no visa. I am sure everyone reading this would agree. No negativity, just reality.
