How long does an HGV provisional license last?

If i emigrate to australia do i need to retake my HGV license?

  • Ok so me and the wife want to pack up here in the UK and head over to Australia. She has just finished her nurse training so getting in shouldn't be a problem. I have a LGV license and was thinking of taking my class 2 HGV but will i be wasting my time and money because i will need to retake these tests when we arrive in Oz? Any other advise on Emigration would be more than appreciated. Thank You

Your UK licence is no good there other than on short visits. But if you can do it here, you can do it there. It is left hand traffic.
