What countries have you lived in other than the UK?

Hello can you please help, i have Full UK Licence B,B1,f,k,i,n,p, what does this come under in Australia?

• am an Australian citizen but have lived in the UK since i was 16, i got my licence in the UK in 2002 and am planning on moving back to Australia with my wife and kids, but i have been looking at websites and know that i do not have to retake my test as the UK is one of the countries that comes under the accepting countries, but am getting confused, at the moment i work as a courier and drive a Transit Van - and in the UK i can drive up to 3.5 tons, but i really am getting confused as to what category it comes under, in Australia is it LR - MR can any one please help,

• Answer:

  In SA you used to have to re-do the test to change your licence from a UK one to Australian but they have since dropped it, I just had to complete an applciation form, show them my Uk licence and i got my Aussie licence, no problems. Check the dept of transport for the state you plan on moving to.
