What is Te Puke (in New Zealand) like?

Has anyone ever been to te ahora, new zealand?

  • Hi I live in the uk and my family are moving to te ahora, but not sure if I want to go or stay here. I'm mixed raced, so firstly I want to know how accepting te ahora is of black, mixed raced or other ethic minorities. Also I'm 19 so would like to know how good the night life is there. Any other info would be great, thanks.

    Te ahora is a small town, there is not much to do there. nice hot pools though. as for night life there are pubs around, but not alot. Its a mix of people living there so its all good. New zealands don't kigde you on what you are, its who you are that matters. anyway its a nice small town, that is not to far away from Auckland if you wanted to move there

i moved to nz from the uk when i was little and the first thing you notice are new zealanders are soo friendly! they wont judge you, because most of the people in te aroha are maori/ pacific islanders so they dont hate on any body. as for the night life, theres a heaps of decent clubs but night life everywhere if you want a good clubs and things you should go to auckland haha its mental..

Blue Eyed Arab, look I speak highly a lot of Australia, but in all fairness New Zealand is no different, they don't sit there and judge people, that's the least on their minds so go in confidence, as for the young scene, Auckland was mentioned and that is not wrong, pretty much crazy for the nightlife.

Dont you mean--Te Aroha ? This born and bred Kiwi has NEVER heard of te ahora.Cant find it on any map either. None of my mates know it. Exactly WHERE , is --te ahora? And NO--dont move to somewhere you cant even spell. Do you think I should move to Lun-dun?
