List the differences and please explain to me them.

Answer:
In a nutshell, my impression is that Australia was largely settled by people who, knowingly or unknowingly, were highly courageous and facing a tough task, fending off what must have seemed extremely weird critters and plants and climates; while New Zealand was settled by liberal middle class accountants in little tweed hats who observed teatime and donated to charity between croquet games. In short, I think Australia's settlement bred a far more pioneering and hardy type of people, while settling New Zealand must have felt more like a government-employee camping trip to Wales. ;) I mean this in an admiring sort of way, by the way. I live in NZ, and proudly wear a little tweed head.
