How can I apply for ACCA in Australia?

I am a current ACCA student living in Austraila am I eligble for a student visa?

  • I am currently studying towards my membership with the ACCA which is through correspondence and self study. I have recently moved to Australia on a 417 working holiday visa which will expire in 11 months. I would like to know if I would be eligble to obtain a student visa being a ACCA student? My estimated completion time on my degree is 2 and a half years and I would prefer to stay in Australia whilst completing my degree instead of moving back to the United Kingdom. I so know about extending my working holiday visa by another year, but my question is directly specified towards a student visa. Any help is much appreciated

  • Answer:

No. You must apply from outside Australia, and note that as visas are issued for a specific purpose you cannot have have two visas running at the same time.

You can only get a Student visa for a CRICOS registered full time course and I very much doubt if a correspondence and self study course would be eligible.
