How do you know what time zone you are in?

I don't know how to pick out my time zone?

I'm trying to sign up for '' Talkoclock '' And I have to pick a time zone; I don't know how. I'm from Texas so what would i choose? It's confusing because it only have Central America and i know that isn't my time. I don't know what it is. Help me?

as you have asked this in travel Australia i assume you live in the town of Texas in Queensland Australia so the time zone you are in is AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time)

I know us Aussies are smart and all that, but really you should ask an American this.

central time that's most of Texas unless you are in el paso then it would be MST (Mountain)TIM
