What sort of jobs are available in the IT Industry?

Jobs in travel agency. AUST. thinking of applying to work in travel agency?

• Hey. I am 19, and thinking of lookin into jobs at travel agencies in Australia. I have travelled to Bali, Fiji, Japan, Guatemala, USA (westcoast) Mexico. I have no experience in the travel industry though i have been working in customer services jobs since 14. I got a 80UAI and i am thinking of going back to uni next year to study in the tourism area. I would like any advice or experiences from travel agents or friends of. i would like the hours i would be expected to work, (ie after office hours? weekends?). the sort of duties, the best agencies, and the feel of the job. Also if i have any chance of getting a job, and what i should do to apply, anything that would stand out. I am looking for full time, part time and casual. i am availible anytime but some sundays (only for 3 months then will be available for all.) thanks.

  Getting a job as an outsider in Oz is really, really tough. And I can tell you're not a first language English speaker, so REALLY TOUGH> Be prepared to look for work for at least 6 months if you don't have connections from the get go.
