Is Massey University good?

Massey University vs Victoria University of Wellington?

  • I live in the USA and was recently offered a place to do my PhD in both universities. I am not sure which one to choose. Any help?

What are you doing your PhD in? Some universities are slightly better at one over the other. Regardless though, I'd choose Victoria University. EDIT- Massey generally has a bad reputation. I can tell you that from working there and from the outside too! Bay of Plenty is still in high school, she has no idea! .....

choose Victoria University i think its more prestigious.

Being a Canterbury girl, my impression of Massey University is that its famous for producing vets (and I was told the other day its becoming a leader in sports science) and Victoria was for Law. I don't know what other strengths it has...I too would place Victoria over Massey unless you are doing the strength subject.
