Is it possible to ship luggage?

Want to ship my luggage overseas from Sydney, any options?

• I want to go home but want to make a stop at Melbourn for a week, have some time off, then go home, but I dont want to take all my heavy luggage with me, is there a way to ship my luggage back home and assign someone to receive it there, while I follow it later?

  Send it either as air-freight (to be picked up at the forwarder at your destination once you are back) or as unaccompanied luggage with your airline. That will also take some days and will need to be claimed at the airport. Compare prices, both options are equally easy. But make sure that you do not have any taxable goods in it, either way you send it. That will avoid many questions and possible delays. And furthermore, prepare a list of contents while packing, sometimes they ask for it.
