Accomodation near the Acer Arena?

  • l want to go see the Nickelback concert in Novermber and its at the Acer Arena in Sydney. Does anybody know of reasonalby priced accomodation close to there?

    There are a few hotels around but as with any event at Acer, the price more then doubles. You can get a room at Novotel for just under $200, Pullman is about $230. If that is too much try the formula 1, but you will still be paying over $100 because of the concert. My grandparents are staying at the Sleep Express in Oct which run a shuttle to and fro for $20pp. It was only $89 per night on event night.

The Sydney City Council are going to provide free accommodation in the form of 1,000 lagre cardboard boxes & 3 porta-loos. I will be staying at a very expensive hotel in Darling Harbour with my friends. I hope it doesn't rain on the night.
