What can you do at home on Australia day?

  • It is australia day and my family isnt making any plans so now im stuck here doing NOTHING on australia day :( :( any ideas?

    Once upon a time all people did on Australia day was drink beer, watch tennis, laze around in the blow up pool and throw some snags on the BBQ. Why not see if you can have a BBQ dinner tonight- all you need is a couple of snags and some bread to throw them on- make mum throw her diet out the window for one day!

That depends where you live. On the Coast the roads are so busy and the beaches .trying to get a park is a nightmare. There are some celebrations held at different places like parks but same goes for busy roads . so to me staying home is great. Im making a pavalova. and will watch tv and go on the computer like now. Although Im lucky and have had a pool swim and a walk on the beach at daylight before the crowds arrived. You could phone a friend and see what they are doing.
