Are there any very cheap hotels in Sydney?

Can anyone recommend cheap but good hotels in Melbourne,Sydney & Auckland?

  • We get to each airport late at night so want something comfortable & cheap & not too far from the city centres but at the same time not too far from the airports!! Budget is around £50 pp & for 3 people. Thanks!

    Travelodge. Available in each of those cities, alway close to cities, are usually clean and comfortable and importantly are cheap. Google travelodge in each of those cities. Try booking on Tuesday's sometime you get better deals.

look at www.wotif.com.au for good deals only book a week or so in advance there are big savings to be made here. and lots of hotels . The railway hotel in Sydney was recommeneded to me as good and cheap. But you will find things expensive as the pound is really weak against the dollar. http://www.railwayhotelsydney.com/ You may prefer a motel in Auckland as most have kitchens
