Is there an equivalent to New Zealand's "Trademe" in Australia, besides eBay?

I'll be moving to Australia in the not too distant future, and I'm wondering if it makes any sense to bring all my furniture. Much of it is used stuff I acquired here in NZ over the years, and I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to find replacements in Oz. Can anyone recommend any good second hand online websites for the Sydney area? Something like Trademe in New Zealand would be great.

There certainly is - trading post is a good start. You could also look at a site called Oztion - a much better site than eBay and fairly similar to trademe. They have quickly developed a good reputation too. http://oztion.com

The Trading Post would be a good one

I don't know how good it is but I found a lost, trained cockatiel and put it on. There were heaps of responds so a few people use it. It's called gum tree
