What's the Best PWC to get?

Im going to Australia in August whats the best thing to do when i get there?

  • Ok me and my gf are going travelling to Australia in August 2010....We dont really have a plan for when we get there we are just trying to be adventourous and see where we end up when we get there....We are flying into Sydney.... Whats the best/ relatively cheap place to go for accomidation when we get there? Is Sydney the best place for us to get a job? What other places in Australia would be good to visit/ get a job? Well thats about it hope to hear some good answers cheers

  • Answer:

Hostels are the cheapest. There is a good one near Central Station and plenty in Kings Cross. Also, consider couchsurfing. The website is couchsurfing.org and I can vouch that it's a wonderful way to travel. If nothing else, Sydney is the best place in Australia to find work.

If you can't get a job in Sydney then try the Gold coast . If you want to go any further up North say Cairns then August is about the last month of the dry season and most tourists start to leave by September as it gets so hot and humid before the wet season. If you want domestic flights then join jetstars news letters or Virgin Blue for some real cheap flights. Lots of jobs come up North before the tourist season end of March Up North I mean in the tropics of Cairns and Darwin. There are plenty of backpacker hostels around Australia.

G'day, I'm heading back home to Sydney in August. I have been overseas working in Canada for 20 months & are now traveling around the USA. This may help you. http://www.living-in-sydney.com/cost-of-living-in-Sydney-australia.html
