Best way to get a part time job at Wollongong, Australia?

  Awwww yay! I currently attend UOW! I really hope you enjoy your time there - it's really an amazingly gorgeous city and all-round fantastic university. If you've done a barristers course, then getting a job around the city or even on campus will be a lot easier. There are so many cafes and coffee shops on campus that pay decently and commuting between work and your residence will be so easy! It's going to be difficult to find a job around Wollongong City, as there are an abundance of other university students attempting to do the same thing. Prepare a resume and try Crown Street Mall: http://www.wollongong.com/crown-st-mall/ which is hopefully seeking employees around July. One thing I've particularly noticed about Wollongong is that everyone there is so helpful and down-to-earth, so don't be afraid to reach out to the people at Student Central. They're always willing to help you! : ) If you can't find employment in the Gong, then you can try searching in the small surrounding suburbs such as Fairy Meadow, Thirroul, Bellambi, Towradgi or Coniston. Campus is only a few minutes walk away from North Wollongong Station, and the train ride between these suburbs is fairly short (5-15 minutes). Good luck with your studies at UOW.
