What is the difference between Australia and Kenya?

When the clocks go back in the UK , what will the time difference be from the UK and Australia?

  • I know that the clocks go back at 2 o'clock on the 30th but what will the time difference be from UK to Australia. Australia's clock went back not long ago also so right now in Australia,NSW it's 9 o'clock. So what time will it be when the clocks go back in Australia when it's 1/2 o'clock in the UK ?

  • Answer:

The UK works on UTC time except when they are on summer time when they are on UTC+1. Australia has three time zones normally and five during daylight saving. Western Australia is always UTC + 8 (no daylight saving) The Northern Territory is always UTC + 9.30 (no daylight saving) Queensland is always UTC + 10 (no daylight saving) South Australia is UTC + 9.30 normally and UTC + 10.30 during daylight saving New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania are UTC + 10 normally and UTC + 11 during daylight saving Daylight saving in Australia runs from the first Sunday in October to the first Sunday in April. This summer it is from 2 October 2011 until 1 April 2012. Right now in NSW, Vic and Tas it is 9.40am on 30 October. It is 9.10 am in SA; 8.40am in Qld; 8.10am in NT; and 6.40am in WA.
