How Am I Going To Study Abroad To Canada?

I am from Toronto, Ontario, Canada and I am going to move to Sydney, Australia next month to study there.?

• I heard that the tehelphone system is very expensive there. Could anyone explain to me with respect to cost how much is it for calling from a mobile phone to a land line and from a mobile phone to a mobile phone? How much does it cost to call Toronto, Canada from Sydney by using a mobile phone? Any vendor to recommend on mobile phone? Also I am not a heavy internet user, but I do need to get access to internet at home (broadband or DSL). Any recommendation for stable and good price internet vendor at Sydney?   Well Eric, cost of living is high in Australia as compared to Canada. But to justify it the average income is high as well as compared to Australia. if, you are not big on Internet, then you can just buy one of those USB mobile internet modems and bundle with your mobile plan. it will save you heaps. Vodafone has just launched a $45/month infinite cap, with unlimited national and international text, unlimited calls within Aus, unlimited access to social n/wing sites, 1 GB date and $45 credit on top of that. Virgin mobile has a plan called Big $29/month cap, which gives you $450/month credit to spend on anything (local text/ call or international text / call). Calling Canada is fairly cheap. I would suggest calling cards. A $10 Card would give approx. 1000+mins to Canada LL and about 750 mins to Mobile. for pricing on mobile networks, check virgin/ vodafone / three australia websites. hope that helps!!!
