Where is the best place to visit in Australia?
-
I want to study abroad next year in Australia, but I'm not sure where I should. Any ideas?

Answer:
I took a tour of Australia and New Zealand. Of the two I recomend New Zealand. Australia had a more European flare to it, while New Zealand was more US in feel. Sorry personal preference since I live in the US. But if your heart is settled on Australia. Both Sidney and Melbourne where the best cities for a big city feel. It seems that no matter where you are in Australia that you are not too far (20 - 30 Km) from rural or wildlife.

ive been there its amazing everywhere you go. literolly i dont know which one to tell you to study in. just pick a random city. sydney is the cleanest and one of the coolest. melbourne is smaller with touristy things. but the province of tasmania is amazingly beautiful. youd like any city there. new zealand is also a lot like australia

tasmania, small friendly and the university of tasmania is renowned for its international student intake, if you want a nice place where you get intergrate into Australian culture fully, tassie is the place melbourne a bit too cosmopolitan and touristy

Travel up the coast take you time. If possible go to New Zealand instead, I found it much nicer and friendlier

Might depend on what you want to study.... If you are looking for a specialised course or a uni with a good reputation o/seas then some unis are better than others, some unis are also generally better run and funded. You might want to ask for peoples opinions on what the best universities are for a particular area of study if this is the case. If you are basing your decision on cultural experience rather than career then just pick a uni in the location you most want to see, eg. if you want to be in a major city with lots of nightlife, entertainment and shopping choose a big city, if you like warmer weather go further north, if you like mountains try south, if you're interested in living somewhere off the beaten tourist track perhaps consider a uni not in a capital city it's big country and there's pretty much a spot to suit everyone. Good Luck!
