What are the less commercialized hill stations near rishikesh with nice scenic beauty?

Fuels stations between sydney and Broken Hill?

  • I am driving from sydney (Penrith) to Broken Hill through Mudgee, Dubbo, Cobar and Wilcannia. I wanted to find out if there are fuel stations along this route and their operating hours so I could plan my trip and ensure there is enough fuel in the car. I have heard there arent many on this route and they close early. Can anyone help please!!! Cheers!!

    Break the trip into two....!200 k's all up...think about overnight at Dubbo ( book ahead ).....up and leave very early .... 7;30 depart... this will leave 750 k's to B.H..... fill up at Cobar ... 260 k's to Wilcannia then another 200 to the Hill..... From Dubbo expect to see ROO's.... especially early morning... but all the way to B.H.... and some cattle or sheep.... give the road trains a go .... carry some water n portable shade... small tarp... just in case... plenty ROO's around B.H. in late afternoon early evening.... don't speed but don't dawdle either.....fuel prices... well you need it and they sell it... out bush ... you get that...good luck...

I'm surprised that Phil didn't try to flog you some of his recycled Bunyip juice that he calls outback ethanol ...he's losing his touch ! You should be able to make that trip easily with just a couple of refuelling stops but Phil's advice to split the trip is good advice..
