Whats it like 2 live in perth, australia?

I live in perth and think its great. I visited London about 2 months ago and it's the opposite of perth in every way. The summers get to 40C on average and its usually hot december through April. (usually hottest in february) And usually around 15C in winter (although it was hailing a few weeks back) It's reasonably cheap to rent right now although the price is going up. There's only 1 million people so it's very clean but it means there's not many shops. Unlike london we dont have many highstreets. There's Hay street and William street in Town which are quite big but thats it for all perth. Instead we have shopping centre's, westfield carousel is a good example with about 1000 shops and best of all air-conditioning. (i swear i spent all summer there to escape the heat) Unfortunatly public transport has gone to the dogs with busses often being 20 minutes late and only coming every hour on weekends so you really need a car but you can pick up a nice used car fairly cheap if you shop around. For entertainment it depends on how old you are. There's the cinema, heaps of beaches, shopping, adventure world, fremantle is a day out in itself,aqua (apparently the best aquarium in the southern hemisphere) Ice skating rink, the zoo,the roller dome (retro roller skating rink) LOTS of cafe's and kings park just to name a few

Im from QLD, and Perth is great, a beautiful city.....worked in the mines over there years ago.
