What is Christmas like in Perth, West Australia?

  • Do they celebrate it like they do in the US? Since it is summer over there.

    It is great. If u are staying with relatives it is fun to have the house with christmas decorations and roast turkey with salad and hams and it is great swimming in ur pool or ur relatives pool. the shops are full of decorations and giant christmas trees and a santa. its pretty much the same as america except you trade the snow for the sunlight!

of course we do :-) but instead of the snow, we have the heat and we have bbq's and beer at a park, or sometimes at the beach.

They certainly do. Most families get together many have a bar b que lunch a few beers and a good feast . The Shops are full of christmasy things and carols playing we have Carols by candlelight at various parks and all the kids hope Santa comes with lots of goodies. The school usually have a nativity play for the children to take part in and the jobs usually have a xmas party etc
