-
I have recently completed my Post Graduate Diploma in Aviation Management in New Zealand. arrived in Aussie a few weeks ago to look for employment opportunities regarding of aviation industry. im looking for entry level jobs regarding of airport operations or airline consultant positions. However, as i am a fresh graduate without any relevant experiences, it seems harder than what i thought to find a job in aussie. so, can any one tell me a good aviation recruitment agencies in Melbourne? or what would be the best way to search for airport or airline operation jobs in Aussie. Many thanks

Answer:
No, Air New Zealand and the N.Z Government stuffed up our aviation employment when they stole Ansett Airlines money, so I'm afraid Kiwi's are not welcome here!

If you want a job with the airlines, I suggest you contact the airlines. If you want a job in Airservices Australia or the Aviation Safety Authority you will need to contact the Government recruitment agencies.

You say you have been in Aussie for a few weeks? So, by now you will know we are a very direct and blunt speaking nation of people. Its the way we are. We call it like we see it--ok? Bottom line mate--if you speak anything like you write no Aussie is going to get in a plane with you as a pilot or any flight crew position for that matter and no boss is going to hand over his expensive aircraft to someone who cannot communicate better than the way you wrote your question. This is the plain and simple truth as I see it as to why you cant get a job mate. Not me or anyone I know is going up with someone who cant speak fluent English. Its just us and we make no excuses for wanting our lives and property in totally professional hands. On top of that, most Aussies will wonder why and be very suspicious of someone doing thier theory in NZ then jumping across here to work straight away??. If Kiwiland was good enough to train you, how come it wont give you a job too? Obviously with their qualifications it would be better to get a job there first??? A bit suss mate!!!!
