Fun, cheap places to go in Philly?

Where are some of the places to go in Melbourne that is fun, cool and cheap?

• A friend of mine is coming from Sydney this Thursday and automatically I wanted to bring her around Melbourne and show her some cool places here. However, the thing is I only lived here for 6 months now and my usual routes are school-work-home so I do not have the chance to explore Melbourne yet. Can someone suggest the nice places in Melbourne that I could bring my friend to? it could be anything from cafes, restaurants, shopping places and etc.

  Cafes/Restaurants - try the Crown Casino, they have yonks of cafes and restaurants, most of them are very fancy, so it'd be quite pricey, but the food is impeccable! Shopping places - Chadstone, Doncaster, Highpoint, Melbourne Central, Collins Street (Designer stores) Other - ACMI (animation thingo at fed square), Luna park, melbourne aquarium, Melbourne museum, puffing billy (in belgrave). Docklands - Has pretty much everything there, there's an ice skating rink, shopping area, cafes and restaurants, the scenery and buildings are rather nice as well. I know most of these places aren't in Melbourne specifically, but it's not ridiculousy far from melbourne.
