Where can u get firecrackers in melbourne?

    True to the Footscray rumour. I've purchased fireworks there before, granted it was during the Chinese New Year festival. -It's illegal and you could get in a lot trouble - you can get them on Paisley St in Footscray. Go to any little asian grocery store. If you look shady, the people will say that they dont have any even if they do because they dont want trouble. Hope you don't get into any trouble!! Oh - and Footscray is on the Western suburbs of Melbournes CBD. It's like a 10mins drive from the CBD - the Moonee Ponds, Flemington direction..well thats some suburbs close by.

errrrrrrrrr Didn't you ask this question earlier this year or late last year ? Somebody did .. and the answer is still the same .. They are Illegal in this state, unless you have a permit.... AND if anybody knows where they can be bought illegally they would be foolish to post it on here because the place would be shut down before you could get there. Personally I'd have no hesitation in reporting it to the relevant authorities. Fireworks were banned for a reason.

the only place that you can legally get them in australia is canberra... everywhere else they are illegal... but you are allowed to buy them in canberra and bring them to melbourne so perhaps you could by them on the internet or something...
