Is TASMANIA a good place to visit?? Help?

  • Hello folks~ I'm planning to go to Tasmania on the 23rd of this month for a week long vacation. I am a South Korean and i am well informed of the beauty of tasmania. I booked a rental car to drive and I'm planning to visit a few places here and there. Maybe a little bungee jumping and sky-diving too? Kayaking? Sounds like fun, but the thinking mind questions... I'd appreciate it if you helped me out with a few things. 1) Is Tasmania really a good place to visit? I'm looking for lush greenery and beautiful scenery and also a vibrant and adventurous vacation. 2) What places do you recommend me to visit? Please help me on this! Port Arthur is much recommended. Why? 3) What are the best things to do over there? Fun and adventurous leisurely things to do.     try: www.discovertasmania.com I live here and there is so much to do. Allow at least 10 days here. And watch out on our roads. many Asian tourists do have accidents on our country roads. Too busy looking at the fantastic ever changing scenery. I wouldnt bother with Port Arthur, It is an important part of our history, but the road there is VERY dangerous, and it takes 2 hours to get there. Lots of burnt out falling down ruins fenced off, and a lot of signs saying what was there. The West Coast Wilderness railway is fantastic, but again A LONG DANGEROUS DRIVE. If you can go on an Adventure Tour from Hobart it would be good. There is one that goes to Adventure Bay and on a sort of jetboat ride out to see seals and all sorts of wildlife, dolphins etc..
