Can you tell me about the reputation of Charles Darwin University in NT, Australia?

• I was looking around for schools and I saw that they had a great offer for International Students. However, I found that they're on the bottom of Australia University rankings... Can any Aussies here tell me how the school is perceived in Australia? Do people look down on students from this school? I'm an international student who wants to study there and work in Australia for a few years after graduating. So I don't want to ruin my chances for good employment by enrolling in a school with a bad academic reputation. Thanks so much!

  Charles Darwin University generally accept people with lower TER's (your TER is the score you get after completing your final year of high school, and it is out of 100). For example, in most universities around Australia you need a TER of 96 to get into law, but at Charles Darwin you only need about 68. If employers see you've attended Charles Darwin, they're likely to think you weren't smart enough to get into University so went to Charles Darwin because you could get in with lower grades. They're academic level isn't bad, it's just their reputation, of accepting people with low marks, that will disadvantage you if you do go there. good luck!
