What is it like in Canberra Australia??? Might be moving from New Zealand to Canberra!!!?

Jesus. Don't go to Canberra. I mean, NZ has a pretty small population but you don't need to punish yourself. Canberra is famous for being a city with a lot of roundabouts. As far as things to be famous for go, that's fairly lame. In fact, it's highly likely that porn and fireworks are legal there and not in any other part of Australia to assist Canberra locals, through the powers of fire and sex, in distracting themselves from the fact that they live in Canberra. Don't do it to yourself.

Canberra can have some pretty awful weather - baking hot and dry in summer with lots of flies, and freezing winds in winter from the snowfields. It's about 3 hours drive from the beach - I think you need to look at a map. It's an expensive city and not terribly exciting, but it has a very low unemployment rate and can be a good place to boost a career. It has very low crime and people are quite well off financially. It's a good place to have a family with great schools, restaurants and facilities for a city its size.

Its good to visit and a very nice place and well designed city, people do say its boring to live in. The weather is probably nice compared to kiwi weather but cold and rainy compaired to most of Australia. There are no beaches it is inland. You could go to parliament house and say hi to julia and tony and visit questacon its very cool. And fireworks are legal. Thats all I know. I think you'll like it.

Fireworks in Canberra are actually illegal now... Canberra is ok. I went there for a school excursion back in the day. Has some nice things about it but I wouldn't want to live there. They have a few thingos there like Questacon which was pretty awesome when I went there and the Australian Institute of Sport too. Don't really know too much about it apart from that. You could throw eggs at politicians cars to pass the time if you're really bored...
