I am going to visit Irealand, what should I buy from there which are cheaper than India or famous of ireland?

You won't find anything cheap in Ireland. All prices are really high. The country is known for its sweaters, not just the Aran (fisherman) beige, but all colors. I don't know if a thick, warm sweater will get much use where you live in India. Next, anything with a Claddagh on it. That's the crown- heart-hands design. You'll see it everywhere. It is especially popular in jewelry. Irish jewelry, especially gold, is very well done. It is beautifully designed and even the gold plate pieces are done well. Whatever you decide on, make sure to get your VAT back at the airport. Since India is not an EEC member, you can get that back. Ask at the shops for your cashback or taxback form. Depending on what the item is, the percent back will change.

I can't think of one thing that would be cheaper in Ireland than in India.
