Trying to get to ireland!?

Join an Irish club, or marching band, or church group who have an annual trip to Ireland for St. Patrick's Day parade. They are highly organized at fundraising activities, and will do all the really hard work at getting deals on flights and accommodation. You could go as part of the group at a reduced rate. It will be much cheaper than going independently. Good Luck!

As you say Spring Break I am assuming that you are American - and no, there are no cheap flights from the US. Winter is the cheapest time (not around Christmas though). Aer Lingus has good deals at certain times - check them out. Just sell things on ebay, babysit (it pays very well these days), have a yard sale,... do what you can. I assume you have a regular job of some sort? Start aggressively saving - curtail nights out, clothes and movies. Save now so that you can spend later. Travel is the best thing to spend your money on if you are able. The dollar is gaining, but it's still weak against the Euro. Of course, who knows where the economy will be in Spring...
