I'm 21 same with them, I'm african american girl from Canada. We want somewhere nice with lots to see, and as well has good restaurants. Also somewhere with good nightlife. Our buget is 7,000 dollars, is Ireland expensive?

Answer:
i would recommend visiting Sount-west Ireland Galway Ennis and Limerick, You mentioned Galway by name so I would recommend maby staying in Galway as you have access to connamara the lovely Irish speaking part of Galway and The Aran Islands where they speak Irish too (as well as English) and maby visiting Clare and Limerick to see some Irish culture. About the counties: CLARE (ENNIS TOWN): The ancient town of Ennis in County Clare is one of Ireland's most picturesque towns. Its history, combined with its famous narrow streetscapes and character buildings gives it an ambience that confirms to visitors, this is somewhere very special. GALWAY: Galway is a city, a county, and an experience to be savored and remembered. The historic city of the tribes dances to a beat uniquely its own. There is certain chemistry and vibrancy to this friendly University City, which many delight in, and few forget. Music, festivals, horse racing, pubs, restaurants, shops, theatres and most of all Galway people, combine to create this atmospheric mediaeval city of culture. From this pulsating heart the rest of the county flows. Galway Bay immortalized in song, its beauty unchanging. Scenic Gaeltacht areas including the Aran Islands. Connemara, with the picturesque town of Clifden as its capital. Mountains, castles and stone walls, bank of turf, long sandy beaches, clear lakes, joyful leaping streams and flowing rivers. Delightful countryside punctuated by pretty villages, and traditional pubs. LIMERICK: Limerick City proudly stands beside any city in Ireland when it comes to live music and the venues to cater for it. At any time, you can find the smallest local act to the biggest international one, stepping on to a Limerick stage. Good tourist attractions are: Bunratty Castle (Clare) Bunratty Castle is a very popular tourist attraction. The interior has been furnished with tapestries and artifacts from various eras in the castle's history (none or few are belonging to the castle). Some of the sights include the 'great hall', dungeons and four towers with spiral stairwells. Medieval-style banquets are held twice every evening in the great hall. Alongside the castle is an extensive folk park, particularly popular with families, tourists and schools. This features reconstructions of historical cottages and buildings, recreating the general feel of the 19th century with a period style village main street. Old tools, furniture and artifacts are displayed, with the village kept alive by some inhabited shops, an old home bakery and peat fires in cottages. Get a boat to the Aran Islands (from Galway or from Doolin in Clare) The Aran Islands (the ones off the West Coast of Ireland, not the one off Donegal or Scotland) are possibly the most beautiful islands in the world. The dramatic nature of the scenery and landscape serve only to enhance the jaw-dropping beauty of the place. There are 3 islands Inis Oirr, Inis Mean and Inis Mór. I'd advise that out of the 3 visit Inis Mór. The largest of these is Inis Mór, is the site of one of the largest and oldest ring forts in the country, as well as other less exciting attractions. and it being Ireland, pubs. Visit The Burren (Clare) Burren is rich with historical and archeological sites. There are more than 90 megalithic tombs in the area, portal dolmens, a Celtic high cross in the village of Kilfenora, and a number of ring forts - among them the triple ring fort Cahercommaun on the edge of an inland cliff, and the exceptionally well-preserved Caherconnell Stone Fort. Corcomroe Abbey is one of the area's main scenic attractions. There is beautiful flowers growing that will see only in really tropical climates even thought Irelands is far from tropical Visit the Aillwee caves (Clare) Aillwee Cave is one of the many thousands of ancient caves beneath The Burren. It consists of over a kilometer of passages leading into the heart of the mountain. Its features include an underground river and a waterfall as well as some very impressive stalactites and stalagmites. The remains of bears can also be seen inside the caves. It was discovered in the early 20th century, when a farmer followed his dog who was following a rabbit He didn't get very far, and kept his secret for nearly 40 years. He revealed his secret in the 1970s, and two years later, after the proper safety precautions were taken, it was officially opened to the public. The name Aillwee is derived from the Irish Aill Bhuí which means yellow cliff. The Cave is open daily from 9:30am throughout the year. The Angela Ashes Tour (Limerick) Angela’s Ashes the Pulitzer Prize winning novel by Frank McCourt that was later made into a film in 1999 by Paramount Pictures and Universal Pictures is set in Limerick and the book gives a great insight into Ireland of the 1930's and is well worth a tour especially if you have read the book. These are all lovely well known tourist spots

Personally i would rather the west coast of Ireland cork Galway Donegal, by visiting these places you would see some amazing scenery and experience the real Ireland there is allot more heritage and tradition still alive were as in dublin it is very cosmopolitan and has somewhat lost its Irishness however if you are flying into dublin it would be worth staying there a couple of nights but you will find it quite expensive,Cork is about 2hrs drive from Dublin! Be aware that nightclubs close very early here around 2.30am but you will find good nightlife werever you go every one is up for having the craic! Ireland is very expensive in my opinion it all depends how much you want to spend tho but i would recommend bringing around 100 USD spending money per day if you were going clubbing every night i would up that to 150 - 200 USD per day hope you enjoy your trip!

Cork and Galway would be the nicest cities. There are some reasonably good nightclubs, restaurants and some great pubs in both cities. Dublin imho is ok but I wouldn't suggest you stay there for more than a day or two. Your budget is $7,000? Yeah, you should be fine, depending on how long you intend to stay...Ireland is more expensive than Canada or the US. If you plan to stay in hotels you can find some really excellent deals at http://www.hotelscombined.com It's probably the best site I've ever come across for hotels. You can use the search option to search for a room for three.

The West is pretty spectacular, with Galway, Clare (esp. the Burren and theCliffs of Moher) and Kerry (esp. the Lakes of Killarney) all unmissable. As for the East Coast, why not visit Wicklow? A great County with spectacular scenery, not leasat of all at Glendalough and Powerscourt Waterfall. Wherever you go in Ireland the nightlife will be generally good. Bu there's no denying it is an expensive country.

It's GALWAY. Yes, Ireland is very expensive, particularly Dublin. But everywhere has good restaurants too. How long that seven grand lasts depends on how long you are going to stay in Ireland, what type of accommodation you go for, how you plan to travel, and if you plan on eating in restaurants every night - pubs are often just as good and considerably cheaper.

Whew, poor you lolol, I say that in the best friendliest way.... Remember in Ireland there is magic everywhere. I am Irish and have travelled the country up and down and inside out and back to front so I feel that I can give you a small insight. If your flying into Shannon (or Dublin) your not to far away from any place. Remember it takes around 4 hours to drive the width of the country. I would definitely recommend, that after you have rented the car or van or caper that you guys head north and then work your way back down the west coast, so aaammmmazinggggggggg, Connemara, Mayo, Galway, Clare, Limerick, Kerry Cork, Tipperary etc etc. Irish cities are nice but the country side is where its at, and its really REALLY good fun to get lost, I mean really lost and you just never know where you might end up. lolol Believe it or not but I have gotten lost a few times and then just pitch a tent and took it all in, the really best adventure. All I can say is to try to avoid cities and head to the mountains and the villages and see, feel, taste the real Ireland. I´m kinda sad actually writing this as I am now living in Madrid and I will not get the the chance to get home this year, but I can smell the air around me and in many happy memories !!! Enjoy and Slan !!! I for got to say that Ireland is VERY friendly, so much so you could nearly just call into my Mum saying I said to and you would get a free home cooked Irish lunch !!!! Peadar :)

Yes, Ireland is very expensive. But it is not a particularly big country so if you're here for two months or more you should be able to see a fair chunk of it. Ireland is packed with culture and great things to do. It sounds as if you're looking for a city, so I would recommend, the capital, of course, Dublin! But there are other; you could try Cork or Belfast! Galway is lovely but is a bit out of the way. You can drive or get the train between Belfast and Dublin in less than two hours now! http://www.discovernorthernireland.com/ http://www.discoverireland.com/gb/ I hope you come and enjoy Ireland as much as I have! Good luck!

Stick to the main centres and have a multi site holiday, Dublin Cork, then Northern Ireland there is not much to see out side of the main areas , it's a small country and easy to travel from one end to other in two days, and you can fly from each area for about €30 each way
