Answer:
You need to find a job and accommodation for a start, if you have a job and somewhere to live and presuming you are a UK citizen then you do not need a visa, you simply need to arrange to have yourself and your belongings transported over. Dogs do not need a "passport" or injections etc they can travel between the UK and Ireland on ferries, no hassle. Short crossings (under 5 hours) it is best to leave them in your car I find. When you do move you need to register for a PPS number if you intend working http://www.welfare.ie/EN/Topics/PPSN/Pages/faq.aspx also open a bank account and register with a GP (its around 50 Euro for a GP appointment). Also you need to register your car if you bring it over, if you have owned it for less than 6 months you will need to pay VRT when you register it but if you can prove you owned it for more than 6 months (show payslips/utility bills/tax discs/insurance documents dating back more than 6 months) you don't have to pay this. Best of luck with it all

The "Common Travel Area" agreements means you will be treated almost like an Irish person here. This is much more flexible than the EU rules. Also, there are no technicalities moving a dog between Britain & Ireland since we are both rabies free. You would need to drive to get her here though. The ferries allow dogs, but only to car passengers - foot passengers can't take a dog with them unless it's a guide dog.

No, you don't need a visa - both Ireland and Scotland are EU countries. Frankly, where have you been that you don't know this? And unless you have job already lined up in Ireland, I would stay put for now - things are as bad here as they are everywhere else. Your dog will need a lot doing to it, lots of injections. And yes, it will need a passport.

If you are a citizen of the E.U. then you do not need a visa to live or work in any part of the E.U. If you are not, then you had better check with your embassy. Your dog can travel from the U.K. to Ireland without any formality.

If you're born in one of the EU countries you can just about move around anywhere in the EU zone without a visa...

Put the dog in your hand luggage. It saves on all the paperwork.

The north is British. So why need a visa? Maybe you mean southern Ireland ?
