How to pack for a summer trip?

What should I pack for my study abroad trip this summer?

  • I am studying abroad this summer in Galway, Ireland for five weeks. I was just wondering what I should pack. I will have access to a washer and dryer where I will be living, and I am expecting to be coming back with more than when I left so I would like to pack a little on the light side when I leave in June. So based off the uncertain weather, what type of things should I pack?

  • Answer:

Defintely bring a rainproof jacket and waterproof shoes, and a light scarf, especially if you're from a dry climate. Be prepared to dress in layers. Many girls wear shorts and short skirts, but tend to wear leggings underneath them, you'll understand why when you're out in the fresh Atlantic breeze that never stops over Galway and the west of Ireland in general. When you get here, you could get inexpensive clothing in Penny's or Dunns, or simply go the secondhand route with Oxfam or similar charities.

GO to the kilkea castle, it is really haunted. bring an EVP, bring video camera's that can get ghosts, bring that ray that shows how high of a level the spirit's energy is giving off, and take millions of pictures, have a friggin BLAST

defiantly bring a rain coat/jacket and something nice to wear on nights out as summers in galway are very big with the races and all
