What is the pronunciation of 'mo duinne' in Scottish Gaelic?

Audio Pronunciation Of An Irish Sentence?

  • I am looking to get this sentence spoken in its true Irish form. Can anyone help me? Here is the phrase. "Evan tá tú mo chroí, mo anáil, mo gach rud. Beidh mé grá i gcónaí leat." Thanks in advance!

  • Answer:

No disrespect, but that Irish isn't good. I'm guessing you used an online translator, starting with somthing like: "Evan, you are my heart, my breath, my everything. I'll always love you." A Evan, is tú mo chroí, m'anáil, m'uile ní. Beidh mé i ngrá leat i gcónaí. There are a couple of distinct differences in Irish. This means I'll always be in love with you, and the always bit means "continuously". If you'd rather say "I'll always love you", giving the always the meaning "forever", replace the bit after the full stop with "Beidh grá agam duit go deo." If you want to emphasise the "you", replace tú with tusa. As for pronunciation, I have Donegal Irish, so 95% of Irish speakers will tell me I've "got it wrong". I'd rather let someone with standard Irish give you the answer.
